Dons Capture League Lead with 4 Wins

This past week:

Aragon 13, Sequoia 6

The Cherokees hung with the Dons for two periods, trailing 7-4 at the half, but Aragon pulled away in the second half to down Sequoia. Rachel Downall scored three goals for the Dons, while Maria Sell added four. Olivia Tobin had three and Maria Vargas tallied once for Aragon.

Aragon 10, Half Moon Bay 3

Rachel Downall and Olivia Tobin each scored four goals to lead the Dons to the victory over the Cougars.

Maria Sell chipped in with two goals and four assists. Aragon goaltender Sara Frandsen finished with 10 blocks.

The Highlands Dolphins trio of Olivia Tobin(4), Rachel Downall(4), and Maria Sell(2) scored all of Aragon's goals as the Dons beat the Cougars to take sole possession of first place.

The 3 Dons all started their aquatics careers together swimming for the Highlands Dolphins Aquatics Club when they were in elementary school.
