First year wrestlers (novice) were in action this weekend at Oceana h.s. The Dons brought home 5 medals . Jaden Perez was all horse power earning 3rd place . Eion Ling found a rhythm wrestling to a 2nd place finish . Riina Smith blended takedowns to get 3rd place . Samantha Wen finished 2nd due to questionable officiating call but is no doubt an exciting wrestler to watch . Tilman Voorsanger may have edge out Riina Smith for most takedowns on the day to place 1st at the tournament
