Aragon Dons Varsity Beats San Mateo High School

Aragon Dons Varsity took home an 8-3 victory over San Mateo High School on Thursday. San Mateo High School evened things up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. San Mateo High School scored one run when #55 singled with zero outs in the fourth inning. Aragon Dons Varsity took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Soraya Frick laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring two runs. Aragon Dons Varsity scored five runs in the sixth inning.  Aragon Dons Varsity scored on a single by Elisa Jee, a single by Jen Horita, a walk by Shannon Galliano, and a single by Frick. Cassidy Tnzuto earned the win for Aragon Dons Varsity. She pitched seven innings, allowing three runs, six hits, and striking out seven.  #55 took the loss for San Mateo High School. She tossed five innings, allowing eight runs, seven hits, and striking out two. Aragon Dons Varsity collected ten hits.  Kayleigh Puccinelli, Jee, and Horita each collected multiple hits for Aragon Dons Varsity.  Horita, Jee, and Puccinelli each managed two hits to lead Aragon Dons Varsity.  Aragon Dons Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Amanda Lovell had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
