With last Tuesday's 7 goals against Hillsdale, Thursday's 4 against San Mateo, Friday's 3 of the team's 4 goals in their loss to Castilleja, and a staggering 16 goals over 3 games to win the Sequoia Tournament,  Maria Sell has been named one the of county's best athletes for the weeks of Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 2016.

Maria Sell, Aragon girls’ water polo. The sophomore had a big week in helping lead the Dons to a pair of wins. She scored six goals and assisted on six others in an 18-7 win over Terra Nova. She then led the Dons with four goals in a 15-8 victory over Capuchino.

Maria Sell, Aragon girls’ water polo. The Dons rallied for three wins Saturday to capture the Sequoia Girls’ Water Polo Tournament. Sell paced Aragon with 16 goals through the three games, including seven goals in a 12-9 win over host Sequoia in Game 2 and eight goals in the finale Game 3 win 16-13 over Notre Dame-Belmont.
