2016 Summer XC Conditioning Program

As in past years XC will hold its Summer condition program starting Monday June 13th. @ 3pm. As usual  we run on Mon.-Wed.-Fri. we will conclude onFri. July 29th. The conditioning each day consists of warm up jog, stretching and then a runs of various distances depending on ability.

On Mon. we meet at the Aragon High Track. Wed. we meet at the Belmont XC course on Hallmark Dr. In Belmont. Then on Fri. we meet at the entrance of North Sawyer Camp Rd. in Millbrae just off of 280 at Hillcrest Blvd.

If you are a student all ready at Aragon or an incoming Freshman you will need to complete an Aragon Athletic packet online and get a physical. The form's link is online at this site and all can be completed online with the exception of the Physical form. This must be print to be taken with you to the doctor who will need to complete it, date it and sign it for you to turn into the Aragon Health Office to Ms. Franco. Once done you are eligible to run in Summer Program or just report to XC practice.

Summer conditioning is strictly voluntary! If you plan to report to the team when school resumes in August you do need to run on your own to build a base. Once practices start and you report without a base it will be difficult for you to keep up on our runs in practices.

Be advise very important to have a good pair of running training shoes. If you have shoes now and they are older than 6 months they probably should be replaced. Go to a local running store to obtain the proper shoe and proper fit.
