On April 7, the Aragon Track and Field Team hosted the first Aragon Track and Field Invitational. Twenty-five schools from across the Bay Area participated in sixteen different events, including runs ranging in distance from 100 meters to 3200 meters, short-distance hurdles, pole vault, high jump, long jump, and discus and shot put throws. Across four divisions and sixteen events, individual Aragon athletes or relay teams won 49 medals for first, second, and third place finishes. In overall team scoring, Aragon finished third among Varsity Men's teams, second among Frosh/Soph and Varsity Women's team, and first among Frosh/Soph Men's team. Despite the threat of rain, dry and comfortable weather resulted in good performances and a fine day for enjoying a day of track and field from the stands.
